Valeria Vazquez Soprano, 26 years old from Monterrey NL México. She studied at the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Monterrey. She later studied vocal technique in CDMX with the tenor Alfredo Portilla and Ignacio Clapés. She was part of the Estudio de Ópera de Bellas Artes in the 2018-2019 cycle, Metropolitan Opera National Council awarded her a special mention and incentive award at the Met Auditions of the Mexico District 2019. With the guidance of tenor Francisco Araiza in conjunction with the Accademia della Voce de Piemonte in Turin, Italy, she has prepared and presented the role of Mimí from the opera Boheme. She has been a finalist in the Cario Morelli Opera Contest and the Sinaloa International Singing Contest. She has taken courses and master classes with: Joan Domemann, Francisco Araiza, Vlad Iftinca, Ugo Mahieux. Teresa Rodriguez, Jorge Paradi, Katherine Ciesinski, Eytan Pesen, Alfredo Daza, Yelena Kurdina, Carlos Conde. She was the first place winner in the Katzarava's Voice Festival competition, where she also won the Verónica Villarroel award for best female performance.

Luisa Mordel Soprano EDUCATION Luisa Mordel completed her studies at UANL Facultad de Música de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in Mexico. She has taken masterclasses with Maria Katzarava, Alfredo Daza, Maureen O'Flynn, Aida Bousselma and Carlos Conde. TRAJECTORY In 2018 Luisa Mordel was selected as part of the EOBA Estudio de la Ópera de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. In the same year, she was invited to perform in a gala at Teatro Colón in Bogotá. She also performed in the homage gala to tenor Ramón Vargas at Palacio de Bellas Artes. Besides, she performed for Opera Galas at Teatro del Bicentenario in León and Sala Manuel M. Ponce in Bellas Artes. In 2019, she was elected for the Mexico Opera Studio Programme 2019-2020 and was also invited to Feria Internacional del Libro Bogotá. Sofía Garza, soprano 24 years old EDUCATION Sofía graduated from the Faculty of Music of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, Mexico. She has done masterclasses with soprano Maria Katzarava, Rosa María Hernández, Joan Dornemann, vocal coach Lucy Arner, Andres Sarre and Carlos Conde. Current intern at Mos Mexico Opera Studio\ \ TRAJECTORY She has performed with the Sonora Philharmonic Orchestra at the Alfonso Ortiz Tirado International Festival in 2019. Sofía played the role of Despina in a Cosí fan Tutte production for Ópera Joven Monterrey Company. Education/Training Jennifer Mariel Velasco graduated from the Escuela Superior de Música, with the soprano Amelia Sierra as her principal vocal professor. Career She debuted in the main role of Bastien und Bastienne by Mozart. She participated in The Adventures of Pinocchio by Jonathan Dove in the Theater of the Arts. She has sung with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Universidad Autónoma Nacional in the Nezahualcóyotl Hall. She has worked under the baton of Srba Dinić, Guido Maria Guida, Matteo Pagliari, Pablo Valera, Stefano Ragusini, among others. Jorge Espino The mexican baritone Jorge Espino joined the ensemble of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in the autumn 2019. Prior to that he was a member of the opera studio there for the 2018-2019 season. His repertoire in Düsseldorf/ Duisburg includes Chaim in Weinberg͛s Wir graƚƵlieren͕ Yeletzky/ Queen of Spades, Paris/ Roméo et Juliette, Sir Riccardo Forth/ I Puritani, L'horloge comtoise and Le chat/ L'enfant et les sortilèges, Marullo/ Rigoletto, Papageno/ Die Kinderzauberflöte, Perückenmacher/ Ariadne auf Naxos and Yamadori/ Madama Butterfly. Jorge graduated from the Conservatorio Nacional de Música in his native Mexico City. He continued his studies at the Academy of Vocal Arts and the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. During his studies he built up a considerable repertoire with such roles as Enrico/ Lucia di Lammermoor, Manfredoͬ Monƚemenjnji L͛amore dei ƚre re͕ Albert/ Werther, Conte/ Le nozze di Figaro, Schaunard and Marcello/ La bohème, Lescaut/ Manon, Belcoreͬ L͛elisir dΖamore͕ Yeletzky/ Queen of Spades and the title roles in Eugene Onegin and Don Giovanni. In 2016, he made his professional debut at the Santa Fe Opera as Sid/ La fanciulla del West and returned there a year after as Prince Afron/ The Golden Cockerel. He became prizewinner at the Belvedere, Meistersinger, Giulio Gari, Licia Albanese, Giargiari Bel Canto, Mario Lanza, Irma Gonzalez and Carlo Morelli competitions and reached the semifinals at the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2019. 2020 Audition Winner

Education/Training Jacinta Barbachano is a graduate of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), studying under Maestro Rufino Montero. She has studied with Francisco Araiza, Ramon Vargas, Christa Ludwig, Javier Camarena, Jennifer Larmore, among others, and is currently a student of Maestra Luis Bezrokova in Mexico City. Career She performed as a soloist with the UNAM Symphony Orchestra in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony at the UNAM’s Nezahualcoyotl Concert Hall and with the Estanislao Mejia Symphony Orchestra at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, Mexico City. In 2018 she made her solo debut with the Mexican national opera company at the Palacio de Bellas Artes as Cherubino, in Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro. Alejandro Luévanos Tenor Originally from the city of Durango, Durango. In the operatic field, he has been Don José in Carmen with the Toluca Philharmonic Orchestra, Marullo in Rigoletto, as well as an Opera gala in honor of Giuseppe Verdi alongside Alfredo Daza and Eugenia Garza conducted by Rodrigo Macías. He has performed as a soloist with the Camerata de Coahuila with the Stabat Mater by G. Rossini, at the Solemn Mass of the same composer in the main hall of the Palace of Fine Arts, the Ninth Symphony by Beethoven and the Liebeslieder by Brahms at the National Center de las Artes, cantata 4 by JS Bach and Winterreise by F. Schubert and Cantata Independencia by Luis Jordá with the National Polytechnic Institute Orchestra. He has sung in venues such as the Palacio de Bellas Artes in the Gala of maestro Ramón Vargas next to him, in the Posthumous Tribute to José José also in the Palace with the National Symphony Orchestra, in the Bicentennial Theater in León Guanajuato, the Teatro de the City of Querétaro, and other theaters of Orizaba, Ensenada, Tijuana, Tecate, etc., singing scenes from works such as Cavalleria Rusticana, Don Carlo, Lucia di Lammermoor, La Bohéme, La Traviata and been directed by Rodrigo Macías, Enrique Barrios, Ramón Schade, Christian Gomher, Gerardo Rábago, Víctor Urbán, among others. He participated in the Sankt Goar Music Festival, Germany in classes with Dr. Emilio Pons and auditions. He sang with Enharmonia Vocalis in the Plaza de las tres Culturas de Tlatelolco Verdi's Requiem under the direction of Plácido Domingo. He was a fellow of the Opera Studio of Fine Arts for two consecutive years. He is currently the winner of the Mexico District of the Metropolitan Opera House National Council Auditions.
